is located at the foot of the Kiamichi Mountains near Antlers Oklahoma, "Deer Capital of the World".
The Kiamichi River is the southern and eastern border of Miller Lake Retreat LLC, and the fishing there is an adventure in the wildnerness. We also have several ponds and of course, Miller Lake. An all natural oxbow lake, Miller Lake was created by the changing course of the Kiamichi River. Bass. crappie, drum, catfish, and perch(blue gill) and gar are some of the fish you'll catch in the lake. Three ponds on the property, each with a variety of fishing, will keep you in fishing heaven! Staying here at Miller Lake Retreat LLC allows you exclusive use of the 130 acres for hiking,off road bicycling, fishing, nature watching, or just plain relaxing and enjoying the beauty of undiscovered Moyers, Oklahoma.. Nearby, you can rent a canoe and go down the Kiamich River (seasonally) . For more information about float trips or canoeing please visit* www.kriver.com. We provide a simple 3 person row boat for our lake and a paddle boat for the kids to enjoy. You can bring your own canoe if you wish.
If horseback riding is something you'd like to do, we will gladly book a reservation for you with our neighbors. They need at least two days advanced notice. The hourly rate is $30 per person, and the ride crosses the Kiamichi River and takes you through the beautiful foothills of Moyers, Oklahoma .
Within an hours drive or less are the many beautiful reservoirs, rivers , and State Parks in Kiamichi Country; Sardis Lake, McGee Creek Lake and State Park, Hugo Lake, Broken Bow Lake@ Beavers Bend State Park, the Glover River, Mountain Fork River and Piney Creek just to name a few. To protect the peaceful setting at Miller Lake Retreat LLC, the wildlife and the livestock, we don’t allow motorized off-road vehicles, but there are plenty of areas around us who do. We do rent golf carts to sight see the property or get you to your next "fishing hole".
