Miller Lake Retreat is located at the foot of the Kiamichi Mountains near Antlers  Oklahoma, the "Deer Capital of the World." The Kiamichi River fronts a mile of the 130 acre ranch and the fishing is excellent.  We have a catfish pond and the natural oxbow lake for fishing also, both are catch and release, and three other ponds on the property. Staying here at Miller Lake Retreat allows you exclusive use of the 130 acres for hiking, fishing or just plain relaxing and enjoying nature. Nearby, you can rent a canoe and go down the river (seasonally) .  For more information about  float trips or canoeing please visit* www.kriver.com.  We provide a simple 3 person row boat for our lake and a paddle boat for fun.  You can provide your own canoe if you wish.

 

If horseback riding is something you'd like to do, we will gladly book a reservation for you  with our neighbors.  They need at least two days advanced notice.  The hourly rate is $30 per person, and the ride  crosses the  Kiamichi river and  takes you through the beautiful Moyers, Oklahoma foothills.  

                            

 

 

Within an hours drive or less are the many beautiful reservoirs, rivers , and State Parks in Kiamichi Country;  Sardis Lake, McGee Creek Lake and State Park, Hugo Lake, Broken Bow Lake@ Beavers Bend State Park, the Glover River, Mountain Fork River and Piney Creek just to name a few. To protect the peaceful setting at Miller Lake Retreat, the wildlife and the livestock, we don’t allow any off-road vehicles, but there are plenty of areas around us who do.  To find out more about the various activities in southeastern Oklahoma
